Well... the news should of spread pretty far, and I'm continuing it! You know how Brawl+ is a modified hacked version of Brawl to make the game more faster and Melee like. Then there was texture hacks.. simply putting the dreams of many. They wished this character was in it.. they wish he was in it.. Blah blah blah, nonsense. Textures made characters look pretty neat, it also worked with stages and menus! Than.. Brawl Model Extractor came out... A chance of getting new characters in game, such as Shadow, Issac, Geno and such. With the help of that, Trophies that were compiled in game were allowed to be edited! Some wished they could bring back favourites from Melee such as MEWTWO, PICHU, DOCTER MARIO and but of course the Fire Emblem Hot shot (who made a big leave from the smash bros. series because of SAKURAI!!) Roy. So far people have tried putting Roy in game, but sadly they have failed. Roy's data was already in the Brawl game data but last day before SSBB was launched, Sakurai was stoned and took out Roy. We all know Roy was an amazing clone of Marth, don't dis-agree with me because they kept Marth in game. But with the hacks these days created by smart hackers... they have put Roy's Stats, Frames, Hitboxes, Fire Elements and more crap in GAME!! This my friends is a begining of a new tale in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Sorry for the long boring Introduction, this topic shows the re-birth of..the one, the only... ROY!! (And yes this is my version of the topic xDD)

Yes this is a texture hack. You got a problem with it?! It may just be a texture but in game, it is roy. This is still in progress.

Roy's U-air acts like a spike at the tip of the blade, and the center of the blade causes the opponent to be sent straight up-ward! Wow, what a comeback already!

Roy has returned! (I've said that quite a bit..) Roy's attacks are more faster (Most), more powerful (Look at his fully charged B, K.O). You'll be tempted to use him in Brawl+ too! Why did you think he came back? So now theres Marth, Ike, Roy! The sad part is that you will have to give up Marth to play him because Roy's crap is in Marth .__. anyways more SCREENSHOTS!

Guess what kids? Roy can kill at the center of the blade =] Unlike Marth he can kill with his Smash Attack except the tip of the blade! If he attacks you at the tip of the blade, you get pulled in towards him! Talk about RAPE.

Well Roy may be slower, but he is more easier to control! You know that amazing fire in Melee? Well its back! For some attacks, he will burn the enemies to ~~HELL~~ dust! People who use Roy understand his unique epic-ness.

HOW TO UNLOCK:

"Download" the "GCT and select the Marth costume you have texture hacked to Roy!"

Roy Texture- Credit to Marcov15 for the Roy Texture
Red Sword Swings- Credit to RoyMaster for the red swings.

"A quick tutorial, name the Roy Texture download 'FitMarth01' That is his red outfit. The sword swings is just named 'FitMarth' If you need further instructions, consult Falco's guide."

"I am using the most current Nightly Build download. The only thing not in here from that download are the Marth changes."

CHANGES SINCE THE 12:30 AM SET:

* All of Roy's aerial are at 40% besides the U-air. U-air is at 20%
* Very slight change in F-air tips angle and a much lower growth
* Reworked the F-smash frames. Should be slower then the 12:30, but not abysmally slow like sets before.
* U-smash winddowns a lot faster to allow for techchasing off the tip. Also makes a halfway decent combo move on the blade hit.
* U-air tips and blade hits should function as a better combo move now
* Neko wanted to test Snake with a faster box, so that's in there too...
It's late, I think that's it...

KNOWN BUGS AND BALANCE ISSUES:

*
* Over-B (Double Edge Dance) needs reworked completely
* U-smash can act up from time to time
* Shield Breaker and Counter need frame adjustments

TO DO LIST:

* Edit the sword swinging sounds. His sword sounds too much like Marth's.
* Edit tip and sweetspot hitbox sizes.
* Rework DED
* Slow Roy down (run speed)

The texture for roy is iffy but cool I guess to see people did that.

I wish they brought back Young Link. I hate Toon Link.

Marth's hair is still gay.
I prefer the Roy-Ike Texture, even though his moves aren't the same.

Thats super awesome CJ. Im sure there is a good texture for shadow considering hes exactly like Sonic except black. I never used Roy but I'm still excited seeing the possibilities here.

btw, it does make sense to have Toon Link as opposed to young link tho. Doesnt mean I like it, but it does make sense.

No duh the texture is iffy. I don't like it, but it gives me the "Feel" to see orange red hair. So far I've been testing the betas, and well... its starting to seem like roy. The only sad part is that I give up Marth T-T
I kinda wish that for the "New" "characters" all you would have to do is toggle random .__.

Also I've requested Young Link!! They are still deciding but right now these two are on the list:

-Doctor Mario (60%)
-Shadow (...?)
