Dear lord I just said the "A" word.

Yes old friends... the most difficult, and most agonizing part of actually manning a forum.

Making it grow. (Btw I wasn't trying to be dramatic but when I say "old friends", I mean it because I doubt Ender or Shiki really know why most of us shrink at this word)

Idk just asking if we should really do this or not, or if it's even okay. I mean, we had a no posting period a couple days ago that lasted like 4 days. 4 days of no posting is bad =__=

So adding people would be nice.

Maybe us Underground members could rally up a couple of old friends.

We should also discuss what advertizing works and look at other forums and discuss why they grew so fast.
This is also open discussion for people who don't want this site to grow, and remain as a small community of friends, which Ender, being the leader of the site, is perfectly obliged to say.

Just asking though.

Anyway, discuss :3

(For Ender and Shiki, just think you should know our previous forum, which did have a decent portion of members at it's peak, died because of lack of advertizing. We tried very hard, but some of us gave up and we never found the appropriate medium for asking people. This is why we groan at that word.)

I've always been awful at advertising. The best way is good combo vids on youtube, I guess. Zeph, maybe you could try to reupload yours with sound again...

Maybe I can find a better uploading site. I mean, honestly, Youtube is crap. They only accept like 1 file for HD and HQ, and they say no to like all of my playlist if I wanted to add any of those songs to it.

But yeah, I'll try. Good thing the old link I advertised it with still links to this one.

IDK about AiB ladder, plus CJ cant even do it.

We wont really be representing the clan, we'll just be brawling more.

I can't say that's a bad thing, but suggesting advertisement through all of us using the AiB ladder just doesn't work. We need to be in clan wars, that's what we need.

AiB ladder has nothing to do with that, HanZo... but thanks for suggesting.

I think we should advertise on Warcraft 3. Thats what brought me together here today with all of my "old friends"! lol. Plus WC3 players are always chillin' people.

Crazy to think that if I hadnt seen that avertisement on WC3 that day I never would have gotten involved in the SSBB forum scene. well, probably.

I've noticed, that we are apart of that "Wifi's Top 100 Clans" thing. Guys, this is one of the easiest ways to advertise for us, that takes no effort.

To draw in new members and more activity, the site needs exposure.

Host tournaments on AllisBrawl: name the tournament after the clan, or instead of using their tournament chatrooms, use your Xat chat as the meeting grounds.

Network on Smashboards. New members pop in there virtually every day, and many are looking to join clans/groups/crews so that they can improve their game.

Schedule clan wars with other clans. Proving your prowess is probably the best way to attract members. The clan "Hasaki" obtained most of its members by... "stealing"... them from other clans (members were impressed by the clan's overall skill level).

You can also try making YT videos. Combo videos, in-house games, clan war matches, etc.

Remember, this clan won't get anywhere if the effort isn't present, and may suffer the same fate as the previous sites. So put in some work!

Yeah, I considered an AiB tourny. I also found a great player on my travels through the web who may join us. He got mad skills, just a BIT better than me....x(
