Nice edgeguarding tactics, be more careful tho, see earlier match

Ok, those are my notes. It's time to go into depth now. I'll start with the pros:
You are pretty good at edgeguarding, but overzealous. Also, your onstage edgeguarding was mediocre, you let me back on too easily. You are very technically proficient. You know your combos well and are good at keeping them going and predicting where people go. This serves you well, and you can rack up damage and make comebacks pretty well and quickly, which brings us to the cons:

You have to make the comebacks. In a way similar to how well you combo, you are really easy to combo. Whenever I start to Utilt your immediate response is to spring then dair. While it worked relatively well on me, don't make it so predictable that I know exactly what you're about to do. Similarly, predictability was a huge problem when you were attempting to grab me. All I really had to do was spotdodge Utilt. Now we come to the part I didn't learn until Toon Link: You absolutely need up-front combat. If I began to upboomerang short hop double arrow, you didn't know what to do at all. After it was proven that my arrows and boomerang stopped your down b, you still attempted it, only to get the timing right very occasionally and to suffer arrow wounds in the meantime. Also, you seem to have a huge preference for FD and that hurt you when we went to some other stages. Another issue was your huge reliance on your dair. This hurt when you were Toon Link especially; Toon Link can only use dair excessively against noobs. When Toon Link, you also Fsmashed too much and didn't use enough projectiles, probably as a result of being Sonic too much. I recommend you stick to Sonic.

I recommend you go to more stages than just FD in friendlies and that you try and dair less. All in all, your Sonic is quite good, but it has a little too much of a mechanical feel, like you can't react fluidly in enough situations and that therefore you are too desperate to create a situation that works for you, which is exploitable. You do a remarkable job of staying alive a long time, but you really need to kill faster. If Toon Link survives up to 200%, you've done something decidedly wrong. Also, to prove my point about the combo evasion and caution, look at the luigi match. Luigi is good at comboing, which cost you big time since you need to work on evasion. Also, it proves the point about caution in edgeguarding.

All in all, I think you PASS, but on the condition that you work on the things I mentioned. I'll play you again in a few weeks or something to see how it worked, but I think you're good enough to be in our clan.

About your critiques. A for relying on the dair to much I know your right about that . Ive heard that from a couple people. Its a habit I need to get out of! Mad

As for my edgeguarding, I personally feel like I have an effective, and unique style of edgeguard with my bumper usage and all. The reason i sometimes let up on letting you back on is becase I have a habit of SDing while i edgeguard so I mostly just play it safe. So yeah, I have to work on the edgeguard, but you gotta give me some props for my bumper usage.

the up-front combat thing, your dead-on. I DIDNT know what to do when you started to get those projectiles going. I rely on my down-b to get in close to myopponent and then start comboing. Ill have to work on other methods.

As for tlinks who use rangs n' arrows a lot, I find it works to just glare at them until they kill themselves out of fear. Or just sheild walk over.
